Drama- Spring Musical

On the night of a raging storm, peasants on an island in the French Antilles perform a fairy tale of star-crossed lovers. Once On This Island is a musical fable based on Hans Christian Andersen’s The Little Mermaid. The El Segundo Drama Department presents this magical tale through traditional storytelling and dance to a wondrous musical score woven with the percussive rhythms of Haiti featuring renowned drummer, Scott Breadman, the ESHS dance class, and band students playing hand drums and percussion on stage with the actors. This show is suitable for all ages and we encourage all students from our district and families in the community to enjoy this delightful display of Love, Faith,  and  Inspiration
