College & Career Day 2024
ESHS’s annual College & Career Day is held every Spring in March. This immersive event is an opportunity for all students to explore diverse career paths and higher education opportunities. With over 125+ speakers representing more than 50 careers, students will gain valuable insights into various professions. Additionally, our lunch time College Fair in the quad will host representatives from over 30 colleges and universities, offering a unique chance for students to engage with institutions and plan their academic futures.

Dear Prospective College & Career Day Speaker,
We would like to invite you to be a speaker at our annual College & Career Day event on Thursday, March 14, 2024.
Our mission is that every student who graduates from ESHS is academically and emotionally prepared for their post-secondary endeavors. Your professional expertise, coupled with your career-related experiences, is critical to our students’ success. The more exposure they have to career possibilities, the more informed choices they can make. Additionally, we are eager to invite you to partner with us as we expand our internships and career opportunities throughout the school year.
This year, we hope to have over 125 speakers representing over 50 careers.
Whether you have participated in the past or will be new this year, we would love to have you share your career expertise with the students of El Segundo. Your presentation will convey realistic perspectives about your profession and provide recommendations on how students can optimize their success in your career field. We want all our students to be prepared for the ever-evolving 21st century skills and jobs of the future.
Based on student surveys and overall need, the speakers will participate in one, two, or three 40-minute sessions. You will be notified by mid-February of the time commitment based on the number of sessions needed in your field and the overall schedule. (Parking and check-in instructions and presentation guidelines will also be provided at that time.)
