Performing Arts Pathway

Quote

Act, Compose, Sing, Dance, Write, Perform: Delve into Performing Arts!

Students engage in a discipline-based performing arts curriculum encompassing music and film appreciation and history – exploring classic to contemporary genres, creative expression, technique and critical analysis.

Classes encourage the development of students’ creative processes as individual performers, as well as members of an ensemble. Students have opportunities to perform live through dramatic and musical theater productions, and band, orchestra and choir performances throughout the year. Courses include regular rehearsals and showcase performances.

Students will also be introduced to the behind-the-scenes operations of stage management, lighting and sound through the ESHS state-of-the-art Performing Arts Center.
